Breakthru iOS
Redefining the SAP customer engagement model and positioning SAP ahead of other vendors.
By providing a solution presenting a rich user experience demonstrating SAP technology through interactive prototyping instead of constructing a typical software environment requiring significant development time, this approach redefined what was thought possible when preparing for engagements within SAP. After its successful demonstration the prototype continued to gain traction becoming known throughout SAP Customer Success (CX) receiving praise from the executive board.

More Detail
Following a stakeholder discovery call I began to define deliverables and suggested a plan of action to meet the requirements of the user story. These were to demonstrate relevant aspects of the SAP CX platform running within a responsive device and concerned a day in the life of a Breakthru sales representative visiting wholesalers and customers. A tablet based platform was required to keep track of upcoming appointments and provide access to stock / inventory content enabling their sales representatives to provide intelligent customer support through order replenishment, inventory and data management.
I prioritised core application functionality in order to meet the customer engagement criteria and built upon this foundation as time allowed. My ideas were met with enthusiasm and during subsequent review calls, despite the fast turnaround necessary, I was able to suggest and construct additional functionality to further enhance the iPad user experience through interactivity and motion.
I made further suggestions to refine and enhance the prototype building in layers of functionality inline with the broader user story providing more realism and talking points for the customer engagement. A nice-to-have feature that I was able to provide within our time frame involved the UI / UX for a prototype component that could identify and match existing stock via barcode scanning direct from the tablet camera.
I continued to work closely with key presenters throughout the preparation of the demo and providing additional support where necessary.
